Specify the whole-pod preparation your cooking or spice recipe needs when requesting these dried red chili peppers. Agree the actual stem and seed condition, complete composition and usable preparation before choosing a lot.
Keep sensory acceptance separate from heat
Mildly spicy is a taste description to assess in a representative recipe. It does not narrow the complete 1000–20000 SHU reference or establish a measured result for the peppers you will receive.
Define the heat-test method, sampled material fraction and applicable lot result. Evaluate the independent 8%–20% moisture reference with its own analytical and sampling basis.
Define dimensions and preparation together
The size reference is 8–12cm (3.15–4.72in), requiring an agreed axis, material part, measurement method and acceptance criterion. With/Without stem remains unselected until the actual order preparation is agreed.
- Describe the intended whole-pod cooking or spice preparation.
- Agree the actual stem condition and seed handling.
- Define how the complete 8–12cm dimensional range will be assessed.
- Retain the full heat range and its independent lot-test basis.
- Confirm moisture separately for the actual sampled material.
- Request the complete formula, process and intended-use documents.
Establish any additional treatment needed for the intended use with the supplier. The purchase brief should describe that usable preparation without assuming a drying method or treatment that has not been agreed.
Plan cool, dry storage for the chosen package
The 24-month reference needs actual temperature and humidity conditions for the dry, cool place. Select the package and closure, and obtain instructions for handling after opening.
Confirm that the period applies to the composition, process, selected package and lot. Include it with the accepted cooking sample and technical requirements so the handling plan covers the same whole pepper preparation.
